The Best SUV Deals You’ll Find This President’s Day Weekend

Dealers are always looking to shift inventory off their lots. Cars sitting on the lot for more than a couple months are bad for business; the longer a vehicle sits on the lot, the more that carrying costs, also known as floor-planning, begin to stack up. Each day a new car sits on the lot is another day it depreciates in value. Add in a grueling winter season, and dealers are offering big incentives to move their inventory.
According to MotorTrend affiliate IntelliChoice, there are a host of SUV deals to be had over the long President’s Day weekend. Whether you’re looking for a luxury vehicle with lots of room or something compact that can scoot around tight city streets, plenty of brands have big incentives to offer, and there’s something for everyone.

IntelliChoice has compiled a list of the best deals for SUV buyers—the full list is at the bottom of this article, but we’ve highlighted a few to loosen up that spare change in your wallet. If you’re looking for a premium luxury SUV and don’t need the latest and greatest, Mercedes-Benz is offering up to $7,000 off previous-generation GLS models. If electrification is more interesting to you, consider a Jaguar I-Pace—a MotorTrend SUV of the Year finalist when it made its debut—with up to $5,000 in bonus cash on transactions that aren’t subvented (see: subsidized).
Honda is offering up to $1,000 off its Passport, and thanks to the recent refresh of the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, Chevy has priced 2019 models up to $4,000 cheaper. The Passport and Equinox are both competent and spacious family haulers that won’t break the bank, and these incentives only make them more budget-friendly.
